Brent Crampton
Hi, I’m the company founder. By the time I was 28, I owned my own nightclub (House of Loom), had DJ’ed in clubs from NYC, London and Mexico, was used by Red Bull to make their brand cooler, and won a bunch of awards like “Best DJ” 3x in the Omaha Entertainment Awards and Scion Breakthru Emerging Artist.
I was one of those DJs that thought wedding gigs were a joke. But then I realized others thought the same. And they were looking for an alternative. So I started this thing as a solution. Initially I didn’t know how many “alternative wedding” couples there’d be. Turns out a lot. I get more requests than my family-man schedule allows. So to meet demand, I carefully recruited DJs that fit the vibe. I respect & adore these people. Read on for why I think you’ll like them as much as I do (and what I’m secretly envious of in each of them).

DJ Crabrangucci
aka Chalis Bristol
Besides having the best DJ name (checks notes …) ever, Chalis is also one of Omaha’s most sought-after DJs. Her first gig was at my club. But these days, now that I don’t DJ full-time, I noticed she gets all the cool gigs I used to get. (No, I don’t have FOMO — you do!). She’s a staple at Omaha Fashion Week, The Sydney, and the LGBTQIA-friendly Revel pop-up series. I think of her like the go-to for parties with eclectic, indie crowds. That’s why she’s also won Best DJ from the Omaha Entertainment Awards. Even before she was a DJ, I noticed she had a gift for picking really good music. I’m envious of how well she does it.

Spencelove & Riche Niche
aka Spencer Munson & Erin Poor
Yes, they are a married couple that DJs together. Two for the price of one 😂! Spencer is also an Omaha Entertainment Awards Best DJ winner. He was the guy behind the legendary GUNK parties, got Diplo to play a rooftop gig that I regrettably missed, and still produces festivals like Lincoln Calling & Jazz In June. Every city has one of those culture taste-maker DJs, and for Lincoln, Spence is it.
Erin is a former Director of Education & Community Engagement at Lied Center for Performing Arts. She learned to have a nice finesse on the mic from that role. But she’s also a wonderful DJ, as per her residency at NE’s oldest Queer bar. I envy the infectiously fun chemistry they have together.

DJ Ness
aka Elliott Harris
This guy gets booked everywhere. Like 2-3 gigs a weekend. It’s nuts. If you go out a lot, you’ve already danced to his mixes. Places like The Tavern, The Green Room, Bar 39. (Ask nicely and he may even get you a pass to one of his Cottonwood pool party gigs). He does a lot of behind the scenes work that boosts Omaha’s DJ culture. He also reads the room well, which is why I think of him as among the best DJs in Omaha. But that’s not the main reason I brought him on. I’m envious of his friendly confidence that plays out well during events.

Nick The Quick
aka Nick Fitch
Nick is one of our top DJs. He plays all over Lincoln, up to 3 gigs often. He’s owned a record store (and helped inspire a generation of DJs). And he knows a bit about country, as the lead guy at Ba Ba Ba … Bushwackers Lounge. He’s kind of like DJ elite, all-access dude in Lincoln. He gets into some interesting situations on the regular. But he loves a good wedding gig, so I book him out with more gigs than I do myself.

Price & Packages
Here’s our take on packages: we’re fully aware our competition beats us out on multi-tier options and fancy add-ons (insert misting effect when you do your grand entry). But think of them like Scooters Coffee. You can get every flavor and cream you can think of, but no one says the underlining product — the coffee — is great. Have you ever tried ordering a plain espresso from that place? I have. The barista gets super confused.
Instead, our DJ’s are like an organic Fair Trade-certified single-origin coffee. The kind that’s grown on a mountaintop in South America. With soil so pure, one might say a baby could be born right there in the field.
In less irreverent speak, our package focuses on providing high-quality sound, just the right amount of logistical support to move the event along smoothly, and a classy dose of dancefloor lighting to create a fun party effect. Oh, and did we mention unlimited time? Ya, you get us the whole night. So put away your calculator, because our pricing structure is really straightforward (and conveniently listed on our website so you don’t have to ask us).
Note, some of our DJs do offer more than what's listed here. We're also more than happy to point you toward some fantastic vendors for any desired extras.

Reception Package
$1,550 or Premium DJ at $1,800
All of the following items are included and/or optional based on your needs. If you need extra features, we can explore options or refer you to vendors we’ve seen do great work. Premium DJs get more referrals, more enthusiastic ratings, and will end up filling out their calendars either way.
Planning: Meeting to go over vision & logistics
Playlist: Cocktail, dinner & dance party playlists customized to your taste
Music: background music for cocktail hour & dinner, plus active mixing for the dance party
MC: we’ll MC the reception and provide a wireless mic for toasts
Sound: 2 full-range powered speakers and 1 subwoofer that’ll sound clear for the toasts and powerful enough for the dance floor
Dance Floor Lighting: Professional Exact equipment depends on availability/needs
Management: Dinner dismissing, keeping to schedule, etc.
Time: NO LIMIT! You got us for the whole night with no extra charges.
Ceremony Package
$400
If your venue doesn’t provide sound and/or someone to be in charge of sound, mics, and music during your ceremony — we can fill in. We provide speakers and microphones. And we’ll cue the music at the right time and ensure everyone can hear what’s being said.
Sound: 1-2 full-range powered speakers with mixer
Talk: Wireless & corded mic (lapel optional with surcharge)
Supervision: We’ll be your sound person for the ceremony
Weddings outside our DJ’s metro area (Lincoln or Omaha) — add $1.50 a mile for travel
