DJ BP Lar

A woman with long braids, wearing black sunglasses, red lipstick, and a black jacket, stands in front of DJ equipment with hands on it, in an outdoor setting.

Book her

Here's what I love about BP Lar's story. Before she ever played a gig in Madison, she was already holding residencies at some of the most prestigious hotel bars in Bangkok. The W Hotel, Sofitel, Dusit ThaNi, rooftop bars on the 39th floor. That's not a typical DJ background and that's exactly why she caught my attention.

She eventually made her way to Madison and she hit the ground running. You can already find her at places like the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Olbrich Botanical Garden, and the Orpheum Theater. These are the kinds of venues that don't book just anyone.

Her music is all over the map in the best way. Disco, funk, deep house, drum and bass, mashups, acid jazz, open format. She knows how to read a room because she's been doing it in rooms most DJs never get to play. Whether your wedding leans sophisticated and atmospheric or you just want the dance floor packed all night, she can go there.

Really glad we found her.
