Wedding DJs in Omaha & Lincoln, Nebraska
Don't book a wedding DJ. Book a nightclub DJ that does weddings well.

Who runs AWDJ in Nebraska, and how did he pick these DJs?
Brent Crampton
Hi, I’m the company founder. By the time I was 28, I owned my own nightclub (House of Loom) and had DJ’ed in clubs from NYC, London, and Mexico. I was Red Bull’s go-to Omaha DJ and did brand campaigns for its Red Bull Music Academy. I also won a bunch of awards, like the Scion Breakthru Emerging Artist and “Best DJ” three times in the Omaha Entertainment Awards.
I was one of those artsy underground DJs who thought wedding DJs were a joke. But then I realized others thought the same. And they were looking for an alternative. So I started this to help wedding couples have a better music experience.
Initially, I didn’t know how many “alternative wedding” couples there’d be. Turns out a lot.
I get more requests than my family-man schedule allows. So to meet demand, I carefully recruited these DJs who fit the vibe. I respect & adore these people. Check the links for why I think you’ll like them as much as I do.
Meet our Omaha and Lincoln wedding DJ team
These are working club, festival, and bar DJs, not weekend hobbyists. That range is the point of an agency: between them they cover everything from house and EDM to hip hop, disco, top 40, and country, in English and Spanish, and they know how to carry a room across generations without losing the floor when the music shifts. Most weddings need that. The slow dances your grandparents want, the parents' throwbacks, and the college nostalgia your friends came for are three different rooms in one night, and the successful blend between them is our job. Browse the roster and read why we trust each of them.
Omaha-based DJs
Crabrangucci’s gig was at my nightclub. Now she’s our go-to DJ for everything from hip high-end galas, indie crowds, to LGBTQIA-forward events. Basically, she gets all the cool gigs I used to get (when I did this full-time), and she’s winning all the OEA’s lately. Four total, so far!
As a Latina, Jak_E’s one of our go-to bilingual DJs. She’s pioneering coffee shop pop-up parties in Omaha and loves playing music for couples “in-between cultures.” She’s a gentle soul with fierce dancefloor rhythms.
Angie Spence is a true house music head with roots in Ottawa’s ’90s rave scene. Now one of Omaha’s most respected DJs, she brings a soulful, underground vibe to every set. You might’ve seen her at MAHA Festival, Barnato, or Omaha Fashion Week.
A friend of mine who's a Grammy-nominated producer thinks Nate, aka DJ Skyscraper, is the best DJ in Omaha. He won the Nebraska DJ Battle in 2025 and they brought him back to judge it in 2026. Chicago-born, Omaha-raised. Hip hop, open format, house, disco. He's a turntablist who actually puts in the work most DJs skip.
We have Yascoe booked about every other weekend. He’s one of our hardest-working DJs. Whenever I talk with him about how his gigs are going, one thing I always notice: he genuinely gets a big kick out of making people happy with his music.
DJ Fly Cuts is a super nice guy that is also one of our most technically skilled DJs. He’s a true turntablist and open-format DJ who can juggle and scratch with the best of them. He also knows when to restrain and let the music ride. You can often find him doing gigs on O Street in downtown Lincoln.
Nick the Quick is our other go-to DJ for country-leaning weddings. Nick is also one of our most-booked DJs. You can often find him at top 40 clubs in Lincoln when he’s not gigging for us.
Riz the DJ has been a fixture in the Omaha scene for a while. House of Heat, Juneteenth Joy Fest, Off The Record, Cafecito Sundays. She runs in exactly the circles we respect. She's got the range and the taste to back it up.
Lincoln, Nebraska Wedding DJs
Yes! We DJ weddings in Lincoln, not just Omaha. Several of our DJs are Lincoln locals who play O Street clubs and bars most weekends: DJ Fly Cuts, Nick the Quick, and DJ Alpha Beto among them. So when you book us for a Lincoln wedding, you're getting someone who already knows the rooms and the crowd, not an Omaha DJ making the drive for the first time.
Lincoln couples book the same packages and the same DJs as everyone else. We've worked Lincoln venues like Hillcrest Country Club, Roca Berry Farm, Robber's Cave, and Graduate by Hilton Lincoln. Plus the downtown rooms our Lincoln DJs play regularly. If your venue sits outside the metro, the $1.50/mile travel note applies, and we'll flag it before you book.
Roger and I go way back. He used to bartend at my nightclub. He’s legit a local rock star for many Saddle Creek bands. When he’s not touring or bartending, you can find him in Blackstone DJ booths or Slowdown on NYE under his moniker, DJ Tyrone Storm..
Yes, they are a married couple who DJ together. Two for the price of one 😂! Spencelove famously hosted Diplo for a Lincoln rooftop party I regretably missed. Riche Niche has held a residency at NE’s oldest Queer bar. I love these two since they’re an infectious couple who bring great vibes and MC skills.
Matt won Best DJ of Charlotte four years straight before making his way to the Midwest. He's done it all — nightclub residencies, corporate events, NASCAR, an NBA All-Star event. Whatever the room needs, he figures it out. Glad he landed here.
Gilberto aka DJ Alpha Beto been DJing Lincoln bars and clubs for six years — Duffy's Tavern is one of his regular spots. What sets him apart is he plays both languages. English side: hip hop, R&B, pop, country, house. Spanish side: reggaeton, cumbia, norteña, salsa, bachata, huapango, quebradita. For couples who want both worlds covered, he's the call.
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Omaha or Lincoln?
Our wedding DJ packages run $1,500 to $2,000, all in. Every package includes the same core setup. The price difference is about which DJ you get and how you're matched, not about cutting corners on the experience.

Simply a great DJ for a great price. We partnered with Ben & Ashley at Image Entertainment to increase our pool of DJs.
We love collaborating with them because they have a great vetting and DJ-training program that covers mixing skills, mic etiquette, and general vibe.
Why book through us instead of going directly to them? By going through us, you’re very directly saying, “We want an awesome DJ, but we also want the alternative wedding vibe that we saw on this website.”
You’ll work with Ben & Ashley to organize your details and vibe. Ben will pick out a DJ based on that, which you’ll be introduced to as your wedding date gets closer.
And while you’re not getting a deluxe DJ, the proof is in the pudding. We’ve maintained all 5-star reviews since our inception in 2017.
-
These are club DJs coming up through the same Omaha and Lincoln nightlife scene as our Deluxe DJs. They can mix and they know how to read a room. They're just earlier in their wedding run, which is why you can get them at this price.
The difference from Friend of the Budget: you pick your DJ and work with them directly from day one, same as Deluxe. You're getting someone hungry to prove it for a few hundred less.
-
People choose this package for two reasons.
One, you can rest assured knowing that you’ll get one of our top 10 DJs. These are real DJs that either have residencies at the area’s top bars, hotels, and nightclubs, some have received awards like “Best DJ” from the Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards, and/or have wedding planners request them by name because of the fire work they’ve seen them do.
Second, you get to pick who you want (based on availability) and you’ll work with them directly through the entire experience. The value here is knowing exactly who you’re getting from day one. And that they’re one of the best in the business.
If you need us for your ceremony
$430 - CEREMONY PACKAGE
If your venue doesn’t provide sound and/or someone to be in charge of sound, mics, and music during your ceremony — we can fill in. We provide speakers and microphones. We’ll cue the music at the right time and ensure everyone can hear what’s being said. And if you’re doing live musicians, we’ll also coordinate with them to make the experience seamless.
Sound: 1-2 full-range powered speakers with mixer
Talk: Wireless & corded mic (lapel optional with surcharge)
Supervision: We’ll be your sound person for the ceremony
Add-Ons
$500 – LIVE SAXOPHONIST (2-HOUR SET)
If you want to take your dancefloor from “this is fun” to “wait… is this a music video?”, our saxophonist will make that happen.
This add-on includes a two-hour set from the same sax player we trust for all our events — someone who knows how to read the room, jump in at the right moments, and elevate whatever your DJ is mixing. Think soulful highlights during key moments and hype riffs during party hour that make everything feel a little more alive.
It’s a simple flat rate, no surprises. Just good vibes and a classy layer of live-music energy. Wanna see him in action? Check this video from a Cottonwood Hotel wedding.
$375 – Cold Sparks
These will be your go-to “make this moment hit harder” add-on. Two sparks machines, safe indoors, timed to the music, and they will look unreal in photos.
Travel Fee
If your wedding is outside of the Greater Omaha or Lincoln area, there may be a $1.50/mile travel fee. If applicable, we’ll let you know before booking. We don’t count that towards the deposit fee. And it’s not due until the day-of your wedding.

Omaha wedding venues we've DJed at
Between 12+ DJs, and a decade of events, we've worked weddings in just about every room you're probably considering.
In Omaha, some of our favorirtes include the Durham Museum, the Cottonwood Hotel, Bohemian Gardens, Joslyn Castle, Lauritzen Gardens, Le Bouillon, The Admiral, Post Event Center in Ralston, DelRay 817, The Magnolia, and Bosona Events.
Knowing the room matters more than couples expect. Big hard-floored halls can echo if a DJ doesn't account for it, so we tune the setup to the space instead of running the same levels everywhere.
For venues with a separate outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, like Roca Berry Farm, Bohemian Gardens, or the Cottonwood's outdoor-to-indoor flow, we run a dual setup. Two speakers outside for the ceremony, a separate rig inside for the reception. The outdoor gear breaks down during cocktail hour while the inside keeps playing, so there's no dead air during the move.
If your venue isn't listed here, no worries. Odds are good we've worked a wedding there, and if we haven't, we'll tell you straight.
Check our blog for a few wedding recaps that cover venues like the Durham Museum, Cottonwood Hotel, and Admiral Theatre.
Lincoln Wedding venues we've DJed at
Some of our Lincoln DJs have been doing weddings 10+ years, so we have familiarity with every obvious choice.
Some of our favorites include Talon Room, Apothecary Lofts, Grand Manse, Robber's Cave, Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel, Hillcrest Country Club, Country Pines, Scottish Rite Ballroom, Graduate by Hilton Lincoln, and Deer Springs Winery.
Knowing a room brings some advantages, especially if it has an echo or has an odd shape.
If your venue isn't listed here, no worries. Odds are good we've worked a wedding there, and if we haven't, we'll tell you straight.

What do Nebraska couples ask most about booking a wedding DJ?
-
Our DJs come from the nightclub and music festival scene — they mix live, read the crowd, and keep the energy moving all night. We're not a typical wedding DJ company that plays a preset playlist and acts as a cheesy emcee. Every AWDJ DJ in Nebraska is a working professional DJ with real nightclub experience.
-
Our Nebraska wedding DJ packages start at $1,500 (Friend of the Budget), $1,700 (Rising Stars) or $2,000 (Deluxe Vibes, where you pick your DJ by availability). Ceremony sound is an extra $430. Add-ons: live saxophonist for $500, cold sparks for $375. Travel outside the greater Omaha and Lincoln area is $1.50 per mile round trip.
-
Yes. We have Lincoln-based DJs including DJ Fly Cuts (a regular on O Street), DJ Nick the Quick, DJ Alpha Beto and Spenclove & Riche Niche. Any of our Omaha-based DJs can travel to Lincoln based on availability. If your venue is in Lincoln, we probably have someone local who's worked there.
-
We serve Omaha, Lincoln, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Waterloo, Nebraska City, Avoca, and surrounding areas. Travel outside the greater Omaha and Lincoln area is $1.50 per mile round trip.
-
Yes, with the Deluxe Vibes package at $2,000 and Rising Stars at $1,700. You pick your DJ by name from our Nebraska roster based on availability. With Friend of the Budget at $1,500, the DJ is assigned through Image Entertainment about two weeks before the wedding.
-
AWDJ has been inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame, and has won The Knot Best of Weddings, WeddingWire Couples' Choice 2026, Best of Zola 2026, and the OEA Award for Best DJ. Founder Brent Crampton has been named Omaha's Best DJ three times, and several of our individual DJs hold their own awards in Nebraska.
-
We have over 130 five-star reviews across The Knot, WeddingWire, and Zola — with a 100% five-star rating across all platforms.
-
All three packages include the same equipment — two powered speakers, a subwoofer, wireless and corded mics, dancefloor lighting, 5 hours, and full reception coordination. The difference is who you get and how much say you have.
$1,500 – Friend of the Budget: You're matched with a vetted DJ through our partner Image Entertainment. Great vibe, fully vetted — you just don't pick who it is. You'll meet your DJ closer to the date.
$1,700 – Rising Stars: You browse our roster and pick your DJ by name. These are club DJs coming up through the same Omaha and Lincoln scene as our top-tier DJs. They can mix and read a room — just earlier in their wedding run, which is why the price is lower. You work directly with them from day one.
$2,000 – Deluxe Vibes Experience: Same deal as Rising Stars in terms of picking your DJ — but this tier is our most experienced, most-requested DJs. Nightclub residencies, OEA awards, wedding planners who ask for them by name. If you want a seasoned pro with a track record and zero learning curve, this is it.
-
Yes. We've DJed four Bollywood weddings in Nebraska and several Latin weddings. Our Nebraska DJs are also comfortable with East Indian quick-transition mixing. If you have specific cultural music needs, tell us in your first inquiry. We'll match you with a DJ who has genuine experience, not one who'll Google it the week of.
-
Durham Museum, Cottonwood Hotel, Bohemian Gardens, Joslyn Castle, Lauritzen Gardens, Le Bouillon, Hillcrest Country Club (Lincoln), The Admiral, Post Event Center Ralston, DelRay 817, The Magnolia, Roca Berry Farm (Lincoln), Bosona Events. If your venue isn't on the list, ask. Odds are good we've worked a wedding there.
-
Yes. For venues like Roca Berry Farm, Bohemian Gardens, or anywhere with separate outdoor and indoor spaces, we bring a dual setup. Two speakers outside for the ceremony, a separate auxiliary setup inside for the reception. The outdoor rig breaks down during cocktail hour while the indoor setup keeps music playing. No dead air during the transition. We've done this at Roca, Bohemian Gardens, the Cottonwood Hotel's outdoor-to-indoor flow, and more.
-
Yes, always. We've had the honor of DJing many LGBTQIA+ weddings and it's some of our favorite work.
-
Nope! Luckily nightclub-trained doesn't mean ear-splitting. Reading the room means reading the volume too — it's common to see us walk the dance floor mid-action to feel how it's landing. And don't get shy about letting us know if it's ever too loud.
-
Totally your call! Some couples want zero Cha Cha Slide and zero "everybody who's single get out here." Others want a couple of crowd-pleasers and a fun moment or two. We're great either way. What we won't do is force games to manufacture a dance floor we couldn't fill with music.
-
If you want it, yes. If you don't, you'll never hear it. Country is the one genre couples feel strongest about in both directions, so we don't assume. And we got DJs that live that Country life if that's what you want.
How to book your wedding DJ
Planning a wedding is stressful enough. We make booking your DJ the easy part. Here's how it works:
Send us your event details through the contact form, or grab a spot on our meeting calendar.
We'll have a 30-minute discovery meeting — phone or video, your pick. We'll talk about your music taste, your venue, your guests, and answer any questions you have.
Afterwards, we send a meeting summary, info on which specific DJs are available, and a contract and deposit link if you wanna move forward.
After signing, we’ll connect you to your DJ or planner. Closer to the wedding, you'll meet with your specific DJ to walk through your day-of schedule and music preferences.
That's it.
Four steps. No hard sells, no pressure, no surprises.
Check your date with us below — or grab a call slot if you'd rather talk it through first.
